Our Team

 

Greg Dangar is an Enrolled Agent (EA), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA), Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP) and an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks® Software. He began his income tax career in 1985 at a firm in Marietta, GA. In 1992 an opportunity arose to launch Dangar Associates. In his career, Greg has gained extensive experience by helping clients identify, address, and achieve accounting and tax goals, including:

• Personal or Company Budgeting
• Retirement planning
• Tax planning
• Individual tax preparation
• Business tax preparation
• IRS and State representation

He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a BBA in accounting, and is enrolled to practice before the IRS (EA). As an NTPI Fellow® graduate of National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI), Greg has earned the distinction as one of the nation’s top tax practitioners. Greg is a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Society of Accountants, and the National Society of Tax Professionals. He has served two terms as President of the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), and two terms as a National Board Director for NATP. He frequently teaches classes on Federal, State and Local tax issues.

 

 

 

Denise is an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks® Software. A native of Wisconsin, she has been in Georgia since 1997 when she was relocated by the Shaw Industries retail division. She has over 30 years of experience including:

• Corporate accounting
• Financial reporting
• Payroll/1099 processing
• Managerial reporting
• Management operations
• Tax Preparation and Review
• Office Coordination

Prior to joining Dangar Associates, Denise worked for a flooring retailer that liquidated through bankruptcy; she maintained all the books and interacted with attorneys in the lengthy wind down before processing the final distributions to creditors. She has also consulted on numerous business bankruptcies, compiling the schedules and maintaining the on-going books for the trusts. In her spare time, Denise is the pianist at her church and currently holds the position as Music Director. She also enjoys ballroom dancing.

 

Terri is a Certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks® Software. Terri is a Georgia transplant, relocating in 2010 from Indiana when her husband followed an outstanding job opportunity. She was raised in Michigan and she is still a Red Wings and Tigers fan. She raised her two boys in Indiana and since then they are all spread across the country. She spends her spare time planning trips to see them. Since her husband is a ‘car’ guy and has a ’67 GTO, their weekends generally involve going to whatever ‘cruise in’ is being held in the area. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Dangar Associates team working in a profession she has always enjoyed.

Cindy is a Certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks® Software. Although she was born in Texas, Cindy has lived most of her life in the Marble Hill area of Georgia. She started out with QuickBooks Desktop over twelve years ago. Since then, her knowledge has grown and she takes pride in providing outstanding service to her clients. Her specialty at Dangar Associates is Payroll. She processes payroll through different software programs, including QuickBooks and also has several clients for whom the process is done manually – the old fashioned way. Cindy handles all quarterly reporting and W2 processing. In addition, she maintains the books for several clients. She loves to spend her weekends riding the trails in her jeep with her daughter.

Sharren is a Certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks® Software.  Sharren is a native of Maryland but spent most of her adult life in sunny Florida. She and her husband relocated to Georgia in early 2016 when Dangar Associates immediately snapped her up. Sharren has over twenty years’ experience working with QuickBooks. She has a passion for the job and loves to locate those missing pennies in the books. Sharren and her husband enjoy the outdoor life – working on their property and taking long walks. She loves her clients and enjoys keeping them on track.

Max is the Director of Client Greetings – He is a Schnoodle and loves his position with Dangar Associates. From playing with his toys to saying Hello to clients, Max is always a bundle of energy.
